There is something about starting from scratch. I’ve been doing it my whole life and it seems to be the way to go for me.  I’ve never grown anything from seed before. I’m giving it my best through sweat, and weeds, and sunburns, it’s all worth it. 

 I’m planting porch ROCKIN’ seeds these days too along with the Beefsteak tomatoes and the Jalapenos, which won’t be ready for two more months. There’s no rush, time is getting me ready along with the garden. And everything seems to happen right on time.  Cause I can see the poppin’ jalapenos and red tomatoes growing strong this summer.  And I see myself dicing and slicing them for the pimento cheese and your BLT.

Hi everyone!

It’s Wednesday, December 12th. I know we are all busy right now, wrapping up and tending to the important details of our lives. Hard work is worth it because when it’s done we get to stop, RELAX, and celebrate with the good ones in our lives. Something we all need before we gear up for the waves that 2013 will bring. That could be the meaning of Christmas. Mark my words we have twelve more days til Christmas! (I can’t help but think of the two turtle doves song.)

Tis’ the season and I will be making tasty fruit spreads and that yummy cashew buttah for you and the people that mean the most to you.

I will be making early deliveries if you need, in the North Hills and Downtown Raleigh this Friday the 14th. And I will have a holiday box pick up next Saturday the 22nd from noon-4pm.

I will also be making a special delivery to Sullivan’s Island, SC in the Charleston area the 16th-19th.

Good Morning my friends,

By the time you are reading this, the tent is already set up and our snacks are out. Here’s to an awesome Saturday.  We can raise our glasses of Sparkling Apple Apple Cider together at The Saturday Market. That is what’s in the gatorade cooler. Christine and I will have jam and buttah samples and offerings, and extra special jam cookies, Fall flavors. There is only 1 rocking chair this week, I forgot the other one down at the beach. But it’s all yours, and if you’re chilly we will have a blanket for you.
